Territory Account Manager
Northern Florida (Candidate must reside in the greater Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, or Tallahassee areas)
$95K - $120K Base Salary Bonus (First year is fixed, second year is performance based) Vehicle Allowance ESOP Health Benefits
Primarily responsible for quarterbacking the identification, pursuit, and success of sales opportunities across Automation, Engineering, and Reliability Solutions within the assigned territory (Florida and Southern Georgia) and/or market segments—leading the charge while leveraging a team of technical subject matter experts (SMEs) who support you in solution development and implementation.
We are looking for individuals who have a technical foundation OR understanding of the process automation instrumentation industries. Someone with a consultative sales style; enjoys understanding the Clients operation and is ever searching to support the Client to optimize their needs.
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in process industries or manufacturing environments preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous sales experience, especially in technical or consultative roles
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and CRM/database systems (Salesforce, Outlook, etc.).
Self-motivated with a customer-first mindset and a passion for building relationships
Project management, account management, sales DNA
Money motivated, and comfortable discussing money.
Applicable industry knowledge – At least a minimal process understanding of the process industries
Strategic thinker – Must possess the ability to blend an understanding of the customer’s business climate, budgets, organizational structure, personalities, and decision-making criteria to expand business at client sites.
Ability to manage complexity and continue growth territory
Consultative style; enjoys understanding the Clients operation and is ever searching to support the Client to optimize their needs
Responsibilities:
Develop expertise in automation, reliability, and third-party product solutions for clients in your territory.
Identify new business opportunities and lead pursuit strategies in collaboration with internal sales teams.
Create and maintain strategic account plans, including competitive analysis and client engagement strategies.
Lead diverse sales teams through project pursuits, including engineers, solution architects, and account managers.
Guide internal proposal reviews, ensuring alignment with pursuit strategies.
Act as the primary liaison for project identification, qualification, and proposal development.
Cultivate strong working relationships with external business development teams and internal stakeholders.
Apply consultative selling techniques to deliver tailored solutions to clients’ unique challenges..
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, including client contacts, activities, and forecasting data.
Collaborate with solution architects for proposal development and strategic initiatives.
Facilitate seamless hand-offs between sales, customer support, and engineering teams.
Salary : $95,000 - $120,000
