Real Estate Closing Assistant

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized Closing Assistant to join our team. This individual will support the settlement process from contract to closing, ensuring all documents, communications, and tasks are handled with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist settlement officers/closers with preparation for real estate closings.
- Order payoffs, surveys, homeowners’ association documents, and other necessary items.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service to clients, agents, and lenders.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of all closing documents to confirm they are properly executed, signed, and notarized.
- Prepare and organize completed loan packages for shipping to lenders and investors.
- Manage the recording of essential legal documents, such as deeds and mortgages, with the appropriate county or government office.
- Balance file ledgers and manage accurate disbursement of payments.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in real estate, title, mortgage, or legal field preferred, but not required (training available for motivated candidates).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with title/settlement software is a plus.

- Must pass a background check.
- Ability to work in-office full-time.
