Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, operate basic food preparation equipment, and contribute to efficient food production. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment while ensuring that food is prepared according to quality standards.

Duties

• Assist with food preparation tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff.
• Operate food preparation equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, slicers, and other small appliances.
• Contribute to food production processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Perform slicing and cutting of ingredients using appropriate methods to prepare items for cooking or serving.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts.
• Follow safety guidelines and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support inventory management by organizing ingredients and supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with food preparation equipment operation is preferred.
• Ability to perform slicing, cutting, and basic food prep tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety protocols, and hygiene standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to the needs of the kitchen team.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
