About the Role
As a Sales Associate/Business Development Representative, you will focus on expanding Red Elephant's reach, particularly in the Multifamily vertical across DFW, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. You'll drive sales, manage client relationships, and identify new opportunities while partnering with project management and design teams.
This role is ideal for a results-driven, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment and enjoys building lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities while managing existing relationships
- Conduct cold calls, in-person meetings, and lead generations activities
- Develop strategies to expand territory and market presence
Client Engagement
- Deliver exceptional client experiences and product explanations
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions
Sales Excellence
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Strategically negotiate and close deals
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions in CRM systems
Industry Insight
- Stay informed on competitors, market conditions, and industry trends
- Provide insights to improve sales strategies
Team Collaboration
- Partner with inside sales, project management, and design teams
- Contribute ideas and strategies aligned with company goals
Qualifications
- 2 years of B2B sales experience (Multifamily construction or commercial real estate experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and strategic thinking skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales technology tools
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel for client meetings (25%)
