Cashier/Customer Service

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and promoting products through effective sales techniques.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling procedures.
• Provide product demonstrations and information to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting appropriate items.
• Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with inventory management.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service or retail environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to operate POS systems effectively.
• Experience with product demos and upselling techniques is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels efficiently.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping customers.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
