Duties
- Monitor entry points to enforce venue policies and ensure guest safety
- Conduct security checks and manage crowd control during busy hours
- Assist with cleaning bar areas, tables, and common spaces to uphold cleanliness standards
- Support bartenders by bussing tables, refilling supplies, and maintaining bar cleanliness
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely
- Restock bar supplies and assist with food handling and preparation as needed
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing
- Maintain compliance with food service bar safety regulations and venue policies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a positive experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, bartending, or hospitality preferred; nightclub or catering experience is a plus
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including food handling and safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Familiarity with venue beverage service, cleaning procedures, and crowd management techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours in a lively environment; night club or banquet experience is beneficial
- Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude toward guest satisfaction
