What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Cook position at Red Dog Coffee?
Red Dog Coffee in Manitou Springs is looking for a cook to join our team! We are looking for people who can:
- Make menu items according to specified instructions in a timely manner
- Prep food (i.e. meats, cheeses and vegetables) using an automatic slicer and following proper dating methods
- Complete necessary tasks by following a provided checklist
- Stock inventory appropriately and notify manager when inventory is low
- Answer, report to and follow shift leader or manager on or off duty
- Maintain a clean kitchen and comply with all sanitation regulations
- Comply with all safety standards and protocols
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Run food to customers- either at their table or outside
- Assist front of the house workers when they need it and there is no food to be made
- Assist shift leaders or managers with any necessary tasks, even if those tasks are not food or kitchen related
- Being flexible to cross-train as barista if needed
