Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, teachable, and eager to learn a wide range of maintenance skills to support our cultivation and production facility. This role requires strong teamwork, dependability, and a willingness to grow with the company.
General Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Assist with routine and emergency maintenance across facility systems, including plumbing, HVAC-R, electrical, carpentry, and grounds keeping.
- Perform basic repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Safely and effectively operate tools such as tape measures, saws, grinders, drills, hammers, painting equipment, etc..
- Support production and cultivation teams by ensuring equipment and facility areas are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable state regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Lead to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older and present valid legal documentation to work.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Cultivation and Production Agent Card as required by state regulations.
- Completion of OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to complete).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Prior experience using hand tools and power tools required.
- Basic knowledge and willingness to learn plumbing, HVAC-R, electrical, carpentry, painting, and grounds keeping.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
- This position requires physical activity including lifting, bending, standing, climbing and using tools for extended periods.
- Indoor and outdoor work may be required in varying conditions.
- Normal Work Schedule Monday - Friday. Also having a flexible availability, including weekends or evenings if needed. ie Emergency calls and meeting deadlines.
