Credit Union Teller / Float - Pryor

Job Summary
Responsible for providing excellent customer service by handling routine financial transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and payments. Ensure accuracy in all transactions, maintain security standards, and promote the Credit Unions' products and services.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with transactions including cash handling, debits & credits, and cash management.
• Promote credit union services such as consumer loans, debit/credit cards, and safe deposit boxes
• Maintain and strengthen member relationships
• Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions and identifying suspicious activity
• Utilize financial software for transaction processing, record keeping, and reporting purposes.
• Perform basic math calculations accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction
• Support compliance with regulations and internal policies during all operations
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure seamless daily branch operations
• Work at different branch locations on an occasional or as-needed basis to provide staffing support and maintain adequate branch coverage
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, honest, and able to work under pressure.
• Proficient with computers and basic banking software.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between Credit Union branch locations
• Prior cash-handling or customer service experience is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
