What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gas system Controller/Scheduler position at Red Cedar Gathering Company?
Summary
This position is responsible for monitoring gas flows, volumes and activities related to the operation of pipelines and plant facilities including treating plants, gathering pipelines, gas compressors, remote electric generators and dehydration equipment; will also coordinate scheduled volumes for delivery to interstate pipelines.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting, business, or relevant energy related field and two years oil and gas industry work experience in a relevant and appropriate accounting, finance, gas control, or data management position;
OR
- A High school diploma or equivalent and five years oil and gas industry work experience in a relevant and appropriate accounting, finance, gas control, or data management position is required.
- Must be able to demonstrate a practical, intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Windows based operating system, and preferably have a working knowledge of: TIPS Gathering Software, ClearScada, FlowCal (or equivalent), as well as interstate pipeline bulletin board navigation.
