Supply Chain Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent college graduate who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced operations environment. The Supply Chain Analyst will support reporting, assist with special cross-functional projects, help manage inventory accuracy, develop meaningful KPIs, and work closely with suppliers to ensure smooth and reliable operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inventory Management:
  • Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Analyze inventory trends and help identify root causes for discrepancies.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Supplier Management:
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery updates, and issue resolution.
  • Track supplier performance and support vendor scorecard reporting.
  • Assist in onboarding new suppliers and maintaining supplier records.
• Metrics, Data Analysis & KPIs:
  • Collect, clean, and analyze supply chain data from SAP and other internal systems.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and standardized reports to measure performance (e.g., OTD, inventory turns, PO accuracy, supplier performance).
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends to support decision-making.
  • Support leadership with weekly and monthly reporting packages.
• Special Projects:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Production, Quality, Finance) on assigned projects.
  • Gather data, perform analysis, and prepare presentations or recommendations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/SUMIF, charts); familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems preferred, but training will be provided.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.
• May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.
• Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
• Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed
• Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
