Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Follow proper sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and safety regulations
- Assist with janitorial tasks including waste disposal, window cleaning, and detailed surface polishing
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest or resident requests promptly and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Ability to perform laundry duties efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality settings is highly desirable
