$22 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Check existing sketches and blueprints to understand project requirements
- Calculate, shape, cut, and smooth materials
- Fabricate rafters, partitions, stairways, and window and door frames
- Certify drywall, roofing, and flooring are level and compatible
- Examine and repair structures
- Assist in building high-quality outdoor living structures
- Measure, cut, and install components of decks and patio covers
- Prefabricate pergolas and pavilion components
- Dig and install concrete foundations
- Work safely and maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Cooperate and collaborate with team members
- Work with attention to detail and speed while following directions
- Read and follow blueprints and project plans
Qualifications:
- We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED
- Strong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity
- Candidate must have successfully completed a carpentry apprenticeship
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Proficient in carpentry tools, techniques, and materials
