Restaurant Server
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Restaurant Server to join our team. As a server, you'll be one of the first people our guests interact with and play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and take pride in providing outstanding customer service, this is the opportunity for you.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be available to work both morning and evening shifts.
- Weekend availability is required
Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas by ensuring tables are clean, sanitized, and properly set before guests arrive.
- Welcome guests promptly and create a warm, friendly first impression.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
- Accurately take guest orders and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
- Suggest complementary menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service.
- Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
- Process guest payments accurately, including cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company service standards.
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain reliable attendance.
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- At least one year of serving or restaurant experience preferred.
- Experience handling cash and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices; ServSafe certification is a plus.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude.
- Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
