What are the responsibilities and job description for the DISHWASHER position at Red Bear Brewing Company?
Job Duties
- Washing plateware, flatware, and cups
- Cleaning kitchen tools and equipment
- Collecting soiled dishes from the tap room
- Maintaining dishwasher and three-compartment sink
- Keeping chemical inventory and reporting depleted stock
- Maintain kitchen equipment and sanitation
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and functionality
- Bussing the Taproom when/where needed
- Restocking, cleaning, setup and/or breakdown of the kitchen space as needed
- Be a brand ambassador and potentially represent Red Bear at festivals and local events
- Any other assigned tasks
- Previous experience working in retail or similar positions before.
- Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take direction and work both independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, other staff, and management
- Positive, fun attitude and self-motivated work ethic
- Be able to work in a noisy and often very active environment
- Ability to stand in one place for extended periods of time
- Appreciation for beer and beer culture
- Flexible schedule with availability on nights and weekends
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in another industry position
- Knowledge of EcoLab products/equipment
- Familiarity with industrial dishwashers and three-compartment sinks
- Fluency in ASL is desired, willingness to learn
