We are a thriving small animal practice that also works with select specialty animals. Open six days a week with extended hours (until 9 PM on some weekdays), our clinic is fast-paced, collaborative, and deeply committed to excellence in both patient care and client service. We pride ourselves on treating every patient as if they were our own and building lasting relationships with our clients.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician with a solid foundation in animal medicine who is eager to grow and thrive in a dynamic clinical setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
· Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
· Perform laboratory tests, collect samples, and interpret basic results
· Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
· Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical prep and recovery
· Provide exceptional client communication and education
· Maintain accurate patient records
· Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
· Previous experience in veterinary medicine (preferred)
· Strong knowledge of animal care, handling, and medical procedures
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
· Flexible availability, including evenings and Saturdays
