What You’ll Do
As a member of our sanitation team, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean and safe food-processing environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Disassembling, sanitizing, and properly reassembling food-processing equipment.
- Performing comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitation of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas.
- Working safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene per USDA food-safety requirements.
- Reporting potential sanitation, safety, maintenance, or equipment issues to management.

Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on position in a food-processing environment. Candidates must be able to:
- Manipulate items weighing up to 60 lbs. in various directions for storage and sanitation.
- Use fine motor skills and manual dexterity; precision is required when handling and maintaining sharp knives.
- Work safely in varying temperatures, including cold environments.
- Remain attentive and safety-conscious while working around equipment, machinery, and other team members.
