Red Barn Dog Ops is seeking an energetic, hands-on District Manager to lead 5-10 Dogtopia locations throughout the Boston Metro area. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for coaching General Managers, driving sales and profitability, ensuring operational excellence, and helping our teams deliver the safest and most exciting daycare experience for dogs and their parents.

What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop General Managers and their teams across multiple locations
- Drive sales growth, customer acquisition, and business performance
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators, labor efficiency, staffing, and profitability
- Partner with store leaders and corporate teams on local marketing and growth initiatives
- Ensure operational consistency, compliance, and safety standards are maintained at every location
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture
- Support employee development, succession planning, and talent growth
- Resolve customer and team concerns quickly and professionally
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and the overall pet parent experience
- Serve as the primary link between field operations and senior leadership
What We're Looking For
- Proven multi-unit management experience
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Experience driving business growth and operational performance
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and business reporting tools
- Franchise or multi-location retail/service industry experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Requirements
- Ability to travel throughout the Boston Metro area (up to 90%)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in active, pet-focused environments
- Most importantly: Must love dogs
