Redbank Veterinary Hospital Hillsborough-
We are seeking a full-time Pharmacy/Lab technician at a large veterinary referral hospital located in Hillsborough, NJ.
Duties include:
Perform in-hospital lab testing
Prepare specimens for outside labs
Daily inventory
Preparing, calculating, and dispensing medications as directed by Licensed veterinarians
Maintaining accurate records of the distribution of controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations
Receiving packages and distributing stock items into our inventory system
Performing shipping processes and paperwork for UPS, USPS, FedEx
Interacting pleasantly with clients and staff
Assisting overnight technicians with stocking, etc.
Applicants must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift packages up to 40 pounds, and be comfortable working around animals in a medical setting.
