The Position
Red Ball is looking for an HR Assistant to join our team at our Shreveport corporate office! This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who’s interested in Human Resources and enjoys staying organized, working with people, and keeping things running smoothly.
In this role, you’ll support the HR team with everyday administrative tasks like payroll support, onboarding new employees, benefits paperwork, and maintaining employee records. You don’t need to be an HR expert—we’re looking for someone eager to learn and grow with us!

Specific Duties:
- Helping handle confidential employee information with care and accuracy
- Assisting with bi-weekly payroll processing
- Assisting with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Helping with new hire onboarding paperwork, including I-9 forms and background checks
- Entering and updating employee information in our HR system
- Keeping employee and applicant files organized and up to date
- Preparing new hire packets and maintaining applicant records
- Pitching in with HR-related projects, employee events, meetings, and company lunches
- Taking care of general office tasks like filing, scanning, copying, and email support
Skills:
- Strong communication skills

- Familiarity with MS Office, Word, and Excel
