What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office/Parts Assistant position at Red Arrow Maintenance?
We are a small, fast-paced aircraft maintenance shop seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support both our office operations and maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment, is organized, and is interested in aviation or aircraft maintenance.
- Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining maintenance records and paperwork
- Support inventory management, including tracking stock levels and organizing parts
- Assist with locating, ordering, and receiving aircraft parts and supplies
- Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Provide support to mechanics as needed in the shop
- Assist in researching and locating information in aircraft logbooks, parts catalogs, and maintenance manuals
- Customer Service
- Help ensure general shop efficiency and workflow
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, document management)
- Willingness to learn and assist in both office and shop settings
- Interest in aviation is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift moderate weight and work on your feet when needed
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
