Red Arch Solutions is looking for a Principal Cloud Software Engineer with deep expertise in DevOps and AWS Cloud technologies to join a high-priority program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
This position has TELEWORK up to 2 days per week, dependent on tasking.
As a Principal Cloud SWE, you will lead the development and enhancement of complex, distributed systems based on well-defined requirements - leveraging cutting-edge AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and modern DevOps pipelines. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle and collaborate closely with a team of top-tier engineers and system architects to build scalable, secure, and resilient systems. Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twenty (20) years of experience as an SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Some experience in SE skills (requirements decomposition)
- Terraform as Infrastructure as Code (IoC)
- Lambda Functions utilizing Python 3.11
- AWS RDS Aurora PostgreSQL Database
- Poetry for python dependency mgmt
- Docker containers
- Pgadmin to facilitate the database mgmt
- SE3 with presigned URLs
- SQS
- SNS
- MakeFile
- API Gateway with Lambda Authorizer
- Step Functions DynamoDB as a user cache
- Cloudwatch
- AWS Professional Cloud certification(s) within 6 months of employment.
- Direct experience in cloud/ML/AI and or similar technology.
Salary : $240,000 - $300,000
