Bookkeeper – QuickBooks – Full-Time – Hybrid-Remote

As the Bookkeeper, you will assist in the operations of a large childcare center and related entities as a key support member to the leadership team, reporting directly to the Development Director. The ideal candidate will help bring order and organization within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position is a flexible hybrid-remote work setup with onsite meetings required a few times each week.
Duties include:
- Reconcile bank records to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Categorize all transactions with Location for proper reporting.
- Reconcile agency transactions with Enrollments & Attendance to ensure accurate payments.
- Publish Profit & Loss reports weekly as needed, and Balance Sheets monthly.
- Prepare & process payroll every 2-weeks.
- Prepare & process billing statements, as well as prepare collection notices.
- Prepare books for tax submissions and track reporting deadlines.
- Observe trends with ideas to reduce spending and improve operational efficiency.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Willing to help co-workers, students and parents as needed.
