Duties

• Process payroll using our payroll system
• Ensure accurate data entry for employee hours, wages, deductions, and benefits in payroll and HRIS systems
• Reconcile payroll accounts through analysis of spreadsheets and accounting software to verify accuracy
• Maintain compliance with employment and labor laws by staying updated on tax law changes and payroll regulations
• Prepare journal entries for payroll transactions and assist with general ledger reconciliation
• Handle confidential employee information with integrity and discretion
• Support benefits administration activities including enrollments, changes, and terminations
• Reconciliation of bank accounts

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll management
• Strong knowledge of employment law, tax law, labor law compliance, and financial concepts related to payroll processing
• Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel), accounting software (QuickBooks or similar), and HRIS platforms
• Ability to perform account reconciliation, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger accounting accurately
• Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail for data entry and account reconciliation tasks
• Experience handling confidential information securely while managing multiple priorities effectively

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
