About The Role
Red Six Aerospace is seeking an experienced Contract Proposal Manager to lead and manage the full lifecycle of government proposals for Department of Defense opportunities. What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end proposal process from DRFP through final RFP submission
- Lead proposal kick-off, develop compliance matrices, outlines, and schedules, and drive the team to on-time delivery
- Write, edit, and manage proposal volumes including technical, management, past performance, and cost narratives
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, contracts, and leadership to gather inputs and ensure proposal quality
- Serve as the single point of accountability for proposal quality, compliance, and submission
- 15 years of hands-on DoD proposal management experience, including prime and/or subcontractor roles
- Deep familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, and DoD procurement processes
- Demonstrated experience managing proposals for Air Force, Army, Navy, SOCOM, or other DoD agencies
- Strong working knowledge of RFP/RFQ/BAA/SBIR/STTR structures and response requirements
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling proposal narratives
- Experience with proposal tools and platforms (e.g., GovWin, GOVSHP, Privia, or similar)
- APMP certification a plus
- Structure: Sprint-based contract. Intensive 5–6 week engagement cycles
- Location: In person- Denver
- Clearance: Active clearance preferred; ability to obtain required
