2nd Shift Production Supervisor
Recycling Associates, LLC is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift plastics recycling team. This position will supervise approximately 10–15 employees and play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
Quality, safety, and proper operation of our equipment and processes take priority over speed. The right candidate will understand that production goals should never come at the expense of quality, safety, or operating equipment correctly.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM
Minimum 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, lead, and hold a team of 10–15 employees accountable
- Oversee daily production operations and ensure processes are being followed correctly
- Prioritize product quality, safety, and proper equipment operation over production speed
- Monitor production, identify problems, and communicate issues to management promptly
- Assign work and ensure employees are properly trained and performing their responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive work environment
- Help ensure equipment is operated properly and report maintenance or operational concerns
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed
- Communicate effectively with management and other shifts to ensure a smooth transition between shifts
- Help develop a dependable, accountable, and team-oriented workforce
Requirements:
- Previous supervisor or management experience required
- Experience leading a team in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, recycling, or similar environment
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a professional work environment
- Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Comfortable working around industrial equipment and in a recycling/production environment
- Shipping and receiving experience is a strong plus
