Position Description:

Are you a detail-oriented HR professional who thrives on supporting employees and ensuring smooth HR operations?

We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team and provide support across the facility. In this role, you’ll assist with employment processes, personnel records, benefits administration, compliance reporting, and employee relations while serving as a trusted resource to employees and site leaders.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the site HR team in daily operations and employee needs.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation, including logistics, scheduling, and required materials.
  • Review and ensure completion of pre-boarding documentation, including background checks (if applicable).
  • Serve as a resource for employees with HR-related issues, including benefits, PTO, misconduct, and problem resolution.
  • Maintain HR records and personnel files in compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Partner with payroll and other departments while managing sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and accreditation standards across all HR processes.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Training

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Experience

  • Two (2) years of related work experience in human resources (required)
  • Working knowledge of HR concepts, practices, procedures, and employment laws (required)
  • Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (required)
