Software Engineer
San Francisco, CA (In-Person)
$150K–$250K base equity
We’re partnered with a high-growth, venture-backed AI company rebuilding core infrastructure in a massive global industry. In under a year, they’ve reached multi-seven-figure ARR and are growing ~50% MoM, backed by top-tier investors.
This is a foundational engineering role with direct exposure to the founding team.
The Role
You’ll own and build core backend systems from day one — no waiting for specs. You identify problems, design solutions, and ship production code immediately. This is a high-ownership, high-velocity environment with a clear path to technical leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Build and scale backend systems, infrastructure, and APIs
- Own PostgreSQL vector database architecture
- Ship fast, production-grade Python code
- Design systems end-to-end in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP)
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years backend experience (top new grads considered)
- Strong Python system design fundamentals
- Proven track record of shipping production systems
- High agency — you operate without heavy direction
Strong signals: ICPC/IOI/NeurIPS, top trading firms, or early-stage startup experience.
This is not a ticket-taking role. It’s for builders who want ownership, speed, and real impact.
