What You’ll Do
- Own day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, General Ledger)
- Lead month-end close and ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Manage payroll processes across multiple regions
- Oversee project/grant accounting, including budget tracking and compliance
- Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports
- Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Conduct variance analysis and present insights to leadership
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions
- Improve financial systems, processes, and controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
- Strong experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Experience with project accounting (budgets, burn rates, compliance)
- Advanced Excel skills (modeling, pivot tables, dashboards)
- Familiarity with Bill.com or similar tools is a plus
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into insights
- Experience in healthtech, SaaS, or high-growth startups preferred
