You will be a key contributor to maintaining the site's quality and safety culture. This position involves essential document control, equipment program monitoring, and material release coordination, directly supporting manufacturing and quality control operations in a regulated environment.
🗓️ Contract Details
- Job Type: Full-Time Contract
- Worksite Location: Paris, Kentucky
- Shift: 2nd Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Duration: Approximately 4-5 months
🎯 Key Responsibilities: How You Will Thrive
- Document Control: Issue and reconcile controlled manufacturing, testing documents, and labels for finished goods. Consult with originators to resolve discrepancies.
- Equipment Program Management: Monitor and provide Quality Assurance sign-off for the equipment program, including calibration and preventative maintenance timelines, logbook issuance, and reconciliation.
- Material Release: Coordinate the timely release of raw materials after reviewing and approving supporting documentation, including supplier and quality control testing records.
- Record Management: Conduct reconciliation, filing, and archiving of all quality-controlled records, and coordinate off-site document storage.
- Quality Support: May provide pre-run line clearance to Manufacturing and offer support for batch record review.
- Process Improvement: Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support process improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and other quality coordinators to ensure timely completion of customer commitments and departmental workload.
🌟 Candidate Profile: Who You Are
- Education: BA/BS in Chemistry or a science-related field preferred, OR equivalent experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality in a regulated environment, including strong familiarity with cGMP and ISO standards.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiar with lab equipment operation and set-up.
- Soft Skills:
- An excellent teammate with strong social and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of company employees.
- Strong analytical skills to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
- Ability to write clear reports and procedures and successfully present information.
