Hardware & Onsite Support Technician
Boston, MA | Hybrid | Full-Time
$70,000 - $80,000 per annum
You won't be chained to a helpdesk. This role puts you front and centre, solving real IT problems at client sites across Boston, working with a close-knit team, and making a visible impact every day.
We're recruiting exclusively on behalf of a well-established Boston-based technology consultancy that partners with nonprofits, tech startups, and SMBs to build smarter IT ecosystems.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning Tier 1 support tickets end-to-end, covering hardware, networking, OS, and access management.
- Visiting client sites across Boston to troubleshoot and resolve issues hands-on.
- Configuring and maintaining UniFi networks, conference room setups, and endpoints.
- Keeping documentation accurate and clients consistently informed.
- Collaborating with the internal team on escalations and cross-functional projects.
What experience you'll need to have:
- Hands-on troubleshooting across hardware, networking, and macOS/Windows.
- Working knowledge of UniFi, MDM/RMM tools, and identity platforms (Okta or JumpCloud).
- Experience with Jira Service Management, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
- Networking fundamentals β DHCP, DNS, VLANs, Wi-Fi
- Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing environments.

The details: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days WFH). Up to 10% travel outside Boston. Must be based in or commutable to downtown Boston. A vehicle is a bonus.
