Title: EDVT Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking an EDVT Engineer to support electrical validation testing of hardware systems. The role involves hands-on testing, debugging, failure analysis, test automation, and collaboration with Diagnostics, Software, Manufacturing, and Hardware Engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end unit and system-level electrical validation testing.
- Debug, isolate, and analyze hardware and system failures.
- Configure test setups, network topologies, and Cisco hardware.
- Work with oscilloscopes, power supplies, power analyzers, electronic loads, traffic generators, switches, routers, and environmental chambers.
- Document test results, data, and failure analysis in detailed test reports.
- Modify and develop automation scripts for testing.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Diagnostics, Manufacturing, Power, Thermal, and Design teams.
- Troubleshoot issues and drive problems to resolution.
Required Skills
- Experience with Electrical/Hardware Validation Testing and test processes.
- Knowledge of NPU, PHY, CPU, high-speed signaling, clocking, signal integrity, and power design.
- Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco routers/switches, OSI model, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and L2/L3 networking.
- Experience with IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, and VRF.
- Scripting experience with Python, TCL, Perl, or similar automation tools.
- Comfortable working in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, failure-analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Hands-on hardware test setup and equipment configuration experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle and move test equipment as needed.
