JOB TITLE: CIRCA SPORTS VIP HOST

REPORTS TO: PROPERTY MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY:
A VIP Host will be responsible for ensuring relationships with VIP customers. Additional responsibilities associated with this position include improving all aspects of customer service, cultivating relationships with VIP customers in the area, offering a variety of amenities to VIP customers, greeting customers, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures within the Sportsbook Department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times
Ability to communicate with Guests in a professional manner
Answers Guest questions in a manner that reflects an understanding of the department and property in general
Interacts on a frequent basis with high-limit sports players, high-limit slot players and high-limit table games players to build and retain VIP player loyalty; leverages property amenities/programs to targeted players.
Meets and greets players on the casino floor, at special events and promotions; anticipates and responds to needs of targeted guests including arranging accommodations and amenities (shows, hotel, restaurant, transportation) to and/or offsite events.
Responsible for retention of existing guests and will assist in special services related to top tier players.
Meets or exceeds predetermined goals and measurable objectives established by management.
Includes quarterly trips by the VIP Host’s players to Las Vegas based properties
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in both written and verbal form.
Must have a full understanding of all wagers offered on betting board with ability to explain to customers as needed.
Prior knowledge of the sports betting industry preferred.
Must possess basic counting and mathematical skills.
Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with staff and guests.
Must be able to maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board gaming employee registration and/or other required license(s).
Must be at least 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one (1) year previous Sportsbook ticket writing or supervisory experience or Casino Host Experience
High School graduate or equivalent
College Degree Preferred
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
Work is typically in an area which may noisy and may contain secondhand smoke.
Tasks performed from a sitting or non-sitting position.
Ability to lift 25 pounds or more.
