JOB SUMMARY:
Using excellent customer service skills, answer calls from both Guests and Team Members. Collect details regarding the issues and dispatch our Engineering team utilizing our computer-based program in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Answer incoming calls concerning maintenance and repairs needed
- Input call details into the computer utilizing our computer-based program
- Assign work orders through our computer-based program in a timely manner
- Effectively communicate details of work orders and follow up through to completion
- Monitor alarm system and effectively report alarms and areas as they appear
- Maintain dispatch log of all activities performed throughout the day
- Notify Supervisors of parts and inventory needs
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow lawful direction from Upper Management
- Understand and follow work and safety rules and procedures
- Interact well with others and be a positive influence on Team Member morale
- Responsible for adhering to all company and departmental policies and standards
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience with two-way radios and multi-line phones
- Working knowledge of Windows based computer systems
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Must be flexible, detail oriented, able to prioritize and able to multi-task effectively
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, changing environment with multiple distractions and meet timelines
- Must uphold appearance standards
- Ability to problem solve and strategize for better solutions
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Must be 21 years old
- One (1) year experience, preferably in a Hotel/Casino environment
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
- Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
- Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping.
- These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.
- Constant contact with fellow team members
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
