Recruiting Solutions is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead day-to-day operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will oversee a team of approximately 50 employees, with established department leads in place to support operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong mechanical aptitude who leads by example and drives a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee all plant operations including production, safety, quality, and performance
-Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~50 employees, working through department leads
-Drive a strong culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
-Ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met
-Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
-Maintain a visible presence on the plant floor and lead by example in work ethic and communication
Qualifications:
-Prior experience in paper tube manufacturing preferred (or similar packaging/manufacturing environment)
-Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and understand equipment/processes
-Proven leadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing setting
-Ability to effectively lead through supervisors and department leads
-Strong communication skills and a hands-on leadership style
