Job Title: Industrial Sales Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven Industrial Sales Manager to support and grow business across South Carolina and North Carolina for a Midwest-based organization serving the industrial and manufacturing sectors. This is a remote, field-based role requiring candidates to be located in the Greenville/Spartanburg area. The position focuses on developing new business, strengthening existing relationships, and increasing market share through consistent engagement with manufacturing and industrial clients.
This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive base salary plus commission. Individuals with a strong sales background, hands-on mindset, and willingness to travel extensively are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities while cultivating and expanding existing accounts within assigned territory
- Drive top-line revenue growth through strategic, goal-oriented sales initiatives
- Conduct regular on-site visits to industrial and manufacturing facilities to assess needs and present solutions
- Manage quotations, follow-ups, and open order closure to ensure timely sales cycles
- Maintain and update sales plans, pipeline activity, and prospect database
- Identify target markets and implement strategies to increase sales and build long-term partnerships
- Travel throughout South Carolina and North Carolina to support customer engagement and business development
- Assist with pickup, drop-off, handling, and packaging of customer repair components as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience
- Experience in industrial, hydraulic, mechanical, or technical sales preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Hands-on approach with strong organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license; pickup truck preferred
Travel Requirements:
- Frequent regional travel (up to 90%) across South Carolina and North Carolina
- Some overnight travel required
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Remote, field-based role
