Director of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

What you’ll do

• Lead preparation, review, and filing of all SEC reports (10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, proxy)
• Own MD&A, financial statements, footnotes, and earnings‑release support
• Design and maintain disclosures for:
• On‑chain transactions executed by autonomous AI agents
• Fair‑value reporting for digital assets
• Manage the reporting tech stack (e.g., Workiva or similar) and ensure integrity of all data feeds
• Lead technical accounting research
• Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies
• Strengthen internal controls and governance around complex and automated transaction flows
• Serve as primary point of contact for auditors on SEC reporting and technical accounting matters
• Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Legal, Risk, Product, and Engineering on new products and structures

Basic qualifications

• CPA and deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
• Extensive public‑company SEC reporting experience (10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, MD&A, footnotes)
• Strong background in technical accounting research and documentation
• Experience operating in fast‑paced, high‑growth, or pre‑IPO environments

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with fintech products
• Exposure to AI‑driven or highly automated financial systems
• Hands‑on experience with Workiva or similar SEC reporting platforms
• Strong cross‑functional communication skills and comfort working with legal, product, and engineering teams
