Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and neutral investigations into workplace complaints.
- Interview involved parties and witnesses in a confidential manner.
- Analyze facts and apply relevant California and federal employment laws.
- Review documents and electronic evidence.
- Prepare clear, well-supported investigative reports.
- Advise clients on appropriate actions and compliance with legal requirements.
- Stay current on employment law developments and best practices.
- May assist in developing compliance training materials.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- Minimum 2-4 years of employment law experience, including workplace investigations.
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
