Administrative Assistant (Temp-to-Perm)

We are seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our team in Hackensack, NJ. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity with the potential to become a full-time employee based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced office environment, has excellent organizational skills, and takes pride in providing exceptional administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to executives and office staff
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Welcome visitors and provide a professional first impression
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate conference rooms
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and general HR administrative tasks
  • Support recruiting, accounting, and operations teams as needed
  • Maintain confidential employee and company information
  • Perform general office duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2 years of administrative, office support, receptionist, or executive assistant experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Professional, dependable, and punctual
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
  • Positive attitude with a strong customer service mindset
