Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid working) - 2 days on site
Reporting to the Claims Manager
A well-known Irish insurance company, is looking for an experienced Injury Claims Handler to join their team.
Day to day:
Manage a portfolio of Motor, Employer, and Public Liability injury and damage claims.
Handle claims through direct settlement, PIAB, pre-litigation, and litigation stages.
Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring empathy, clarity, and efficiency in every interaction.
Make early and accurate decisions on liability, indemnity, quantum, and settlement strategy.
Collaborate with solicitors, legal teams, and external service providers when needed.
Identify and follow up on fraud and recovery opportunities.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes.
Profile:
APA qualification in both Personal and Commercial Insurance is essential.
Experience in handling injury or liability claims.
Strong technical understanding of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board and litigation processes.
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Able to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
