Recruit Secure is partnering with a well-established for-profit healthcare organization seeking a compassionate MD who is highly motivated and has experience in Podiatry for direct hire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced provider looking for flexibility, with the ability to make a meaningful impact in post-acute healthcare.
The organization provides specialized advanced practice care to Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Communities, and Adult Homes throughout the Brooklyn, Queens, and Nassau County areas (many other areas available). The provider will work collaboratively with facility nursing teams to improve patient outcomes, enhance quality of care, and help reduce avoidable hospital readmissions.
- Flexible scheduling options available
- Full-Time or Part-Time 1099 position
- Provider will support geographically clustered facilities
- Typical schedule ranges from 1–3 days per week (for P/T) or 5 days (F/T), seeing about 30 patients daily, depending on needs
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive podiatry assessments, evaluations, and follow-up care
- Diagnose and manage a variety of podiatry conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with facility nursing teams and supervising physicians
- Provide education and support to patients and healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation through EMR systems (Practice Fusion program)
- Medicaid/Medicare Insurance Verifications
Requirements:
- Board-certified Doctor of Podiatry
- Active New York State MD license
- Current DEA License
- Medicaid certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in podiatry care and treatment
- Strong knowledge of podiatry protocols and treatment approaches.
