What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Supervisor position at Recruit Right Strategies?
Recruit Right is seeking a second shift Production Supervisor to work for our client. This is a full-time, not temp or contract role with a leading supplier in their field. The shift hours will be 3 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with the willingness to come in early or work late or on weekends as needed. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise floor operations, ensuring schedules, raw materials, and equipment are ready for each shift.
- Lead shift meetings, track productivity, and provide end-of-shift reports.
- Monitor quality control, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Act as liaison with Maintenance, Planning, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Train, coach, and support team members; handle performance feedback, scheduling, and compliance.
- Serve as acting supervisor when needed and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
Qualifications:
- 5 years plant/production experience (leadership preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in plant equipment, ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred), and Microsoft Office.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
