Processes information and maintains the golf tee-time reservation system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job’s overall responsibilities.)

  • Create tee sheet configuration for all seven golf courses.
  • Input’s tee-time reservation slips.
  • Oversees the tee time bump sheet.
  • Reviews the tee sheet and determines if adjustments can be made to place golfers into open tee times.
  • Adjusts course tee-time configurations according to seasonal play, tournaments, course closures, adjusting tee times for other play.
  • Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness to include the ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness and pivot service as needed.
  • Works closely with club and league monitors and officers for tee sheet setup.
  • Oversees data entry for Group Play and other special events.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Fields telephone inquiries and questions from residents and guests concerning their tee time reservations.
  • Runs the tee-time reservation lottery.
  • Checks telephone messages, e-mail correspondence and website tee times for each day's input.
  • Flexible work schedules to include an ability to work weekends on short notice is required.
  • Maintains consistent record of acceptable onsite attendance and punctuality according to policy guidelines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Sufficient Training and education to demonstrate possession of required knowledge, skills and qualifications are required.

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct experience working within a golf pro-shop and scheduling environment highly preferred
  • Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
  • Must have solid working knowledge with Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis in Excel, Word, Outlook Systems experience TotalE highly preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is conducted in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and indoor and outdoor settings with moderate to loud levels of noise.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms sometimes over shoulders; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to perform heavy manual labor; operate motorized equipment and vehicles; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, twisting, balancing, leg/foot use (to use machine controls) or crawl.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Work is expected to be performed from both indoors and outdoors. The work environment is potentially hazardous. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outdoor weather to include extreme heat.
