Facilities Attendant - Lakeview Recreation Center Mini Golf, Sun City

Days/Hours: Friday and Saturday - 6am-1pm and every third Sunday 8am - 1:30pm

• Must be computer literate and able to maneuver around a computer.
  
  

Job Summary: Performs attendant duties for the area which assigned to deliver exceptional customer service. May be required to serve one or more of the following areas: swimming pool, spa, exercise room, mini-golf, table tennis, racquet ball, bocce, handball, jogging/walking track, tennis, boats, fishing, and special activities.

Pay: $15.15/hr

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets all individuals and welcomes them to the facility
• Verifies Cardholder’s card prior to authorizing admittance
• Checks Cardholders and guests into the facilities
• Verifies guests are eligible as guests per RCSC policies
• Sells Host Punch Cards and collects payments
• Issues Guest Passes for Cardholder guests as requested
• Provides customer assistance as needed
• Informs and educates Cardholders and guests regarding RCSC policies, rules, safety standards and sanitation requirements
• Communicates with Cardholders and guests when their actions are outside of RCSC policies and change is required
• Monitors fitness room to ensure usage of equipment is in accordance with RCSC policies i.e.: ensuring safety clips are being worn. FA does not perform machine demonstrations.
• Reads Center Announcements at least one time per shift
• Opens/closes area of assignment depending on schedule, potentially including locking/unlocking facilities and turning on/off lights
• Performs housekeeping duties in and around assigned area(s) including, but not limited to, picking up trash, organizing equipment, wiping equipment and surfaces, dry mopping wet floors in locker rooms, and straightening pool furniture
• Works as a team with custodial staff to determine weather safety for outdoor aquatics
• Completes Incident Reports for accidents, incidents and emergencies when necessary and in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Places 911 calls in emergency situations
• Informs supervisor of any unusual incident or circumstance that occurs during assigned shift
• Informs supervisor of any unsafe conditions or practices, and, if necessary, places out of order sign
• Depending on assigned work area, may perform one or more of the following:
• Cleans tables, balls, clubs, and other playing equipment
• Participate in mandatory safety training and prioritize safety throughout the workday.
• Cleans walkways around assigned area
• Performs other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be able to use a computer, and be comfortable maneuvering around a computer.
• One (1) year of in person customer service, OR
• Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and education which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
