Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, creative, and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our team in Bristol, IN. In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimization of our email and SMS marketing campaigns. You will craft high-converting copy, design visually appealing graphics using brand guidelines, build automated flows, and leverage data to maximize customer engagement, retention, and sales revenue across our e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Plan, build, and schedule recurring promotional email newsletters, product launches, seasonal sales, and SMS broadcasts.
- Automation & Lifecycle Flows: Build, test, and optimize automated email journeys (e.g., Welcome series, Abandoned Cart/Browse, Post-Purchase, Win-back, and Re-engagement).
- Content & Graphic Design: Write compelling, high-converting email copy and collaborate with graphics tools/designers to produce visually engaging layouts aligned with RecPro’s product line.
- Segmentation & Personalization: Manage list hygiene, segment customer databases based on purchasing behavior and engagement, and execute tailored lifecycle communications.
- Deliverability & Compliance: Monitor inbox placement, manage domain reputation, enforce list hygiene best practices, and maintain full compliance with CAN-SPAM and TCPA laws.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Conduct ongoing testing on subject lines, send times, preview text, layout formats, and CTA buttons to maximize Open, Click-Through (CTR), and Conversion rates.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance metrics (Revenue, CTR, Open Rate, Unsubscribes), presenting weekly/monthly reports and actionable recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, preferably in an e-commerce or retail setting.
- ESP Proficiency: Strong expertise with major E-commerce Email Service Providers (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or similar).
- Technical Skills: Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email troubleshooting; experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, or Magento) is a strong plus.
- Content Creation: Strong copywriting capabilities tailored for direct-to-consumer audience engagement. Basic photo editing and graphic layout skills (Adobe Suite or Canva) required.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using Google Analytics and ESP reporting dashboards to turn performance data into actionable campaign changes.
- Work Style: High attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
