Beyond their contracted facilities, the organization also provides care through mental health rehabilitation centers, ensuring a comprehensive approach to health and wellbeing.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nashville, TN, for the position of Operations Counsel. The Operations Counsel will provide legal guidance and support to the organization, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and draft and review contracts and legal documents. The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal and operational issues, manage legal risks, and oversee regulatory and legal processes to support organizational goals.

• Strong knowledge of contract law, regulatory compliance, and healthcare law
• Demonstrated skills in legal drafting, negotiation, and risk management
• Experience in providing legal counsel in the behavioral health or healthcare industry
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide sound legal advice
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in Tennessee
• Experience in public sector contracting and regulatory environments is a plus
