TITLE: SUPPORT STAFF SUPERVISOR - Drug, Alcohol, Mental Health Treatment

POSITION CLASSIFICATION: SALARY, EXEMPT

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Support Staff Supervisor oversees and assists in the planning and implementation of the workflows and daily activities of office operations for support staff at all office locations. Reports directly to the CFO. May be required to work evenings and weekends, and may be exposed to stressful situations. Travel required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide training, staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage, supervise staff, and perform goal assessment in accordance with goals set forth in agency Strategic Plan. Provide motivation and support of RSNWO goals, policies and procedures in a team approach.

  • Perform job performance evaluations for subordinate support staff at each office site.

  • Responsible for completing Quarterly Site visits with support staff at each office location.

  • Monthly meetings with supervisor to assess Goals and progress.

Responsible for the oversight of the following activities performed by support staff:

  • Perform clerical duties for the program staff. This includes, but is not limited to, data entry correspondence, filing, copying, mail distribution, office supplies etc.

  • Answer telephone, taking and relaying messages, and scheduling appointments for program’s meetings and staff. Be sure reception area, including desk and office supply area is in orderly manner.

  • Responsible for managing open access.

  • Responsible for qualifying funding source for client and completing necessary paperwork to access eligible funds.

  • Explaining fees due, and collection of fees at time of visit.

  • Responsible for petty cash and bank deposits.

  • Responsible for updating client fee scale when appropriate.

  • Responsible for working with clients to keep account current, using aged accounts receivable reports, payment agreements, default notices, notice of collection action, etc.

  • Responsible for QI activities as outlined in QI Plan and Support Staff calendar items.

  • Responsible for Site Safety Officer duties (new staff orientation, drills, reports, etc).

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School graduate, and/or associate degree, and/or equivalent experience.

  • Successful candidate will possess strong customer service and organizational skills.

  • Well-developed writing/communication skills.

  • Demonstrated computer skills required.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to motivate staff and support RSNWO goals, policies and procedures in a team approach

  • Availability to work flexible and/or evening hours

  • Subject to BCI background check, pre-employment drug screen, and reference checks.
