Part-Time | Weekend Position
Recovery Plus for Women is seeking a dependable, compassionate Weekend Recovery Tech to join our team in Madisonville, Kentucky.
Recovery Plus is a structured recovery program serving women with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Recovery Techs work directly with clients and play an important role in maintaining a safe, respectful, recovery-focused environment.
This is a hands-on position for someone who can be supportive while also maintaining clear boundaries, structure, and accountability.
Responsibilities
The Weekend Recovery Tech will:
- Provide direct supervision and support to clients during the assigned shift
- Maintain a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment
- Reinforce program schedules, rules, boundaries, and expectations
- Support clients with daily routines, chores, activities, and accountability
- Conduct routine wellness checks
- Complete accurate shift notes, logs, checklists, incident reports, and other required documentation
- Assist with medication documentation processes as trained and permitted within the scope of the position
- Observe and report changes in client behavior, mental health, safety, or recovery stability
- Use calm, respectful, trauma-informed communication
- Assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation when needed
- Transport clients or assist with transportation and program logistics when assigned
- Communicate concerns promptly to supervisors and program leadership
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries at all times
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass required drug screening
- Dependable transportation and reliable attendance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and chain of command
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required for employees assigned to transport clients.
Preferred
Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required:
- Substance use recovery
- Behavioral health
- Mental health
- Recovery housing
- Peer support
- Residential programs
- Human services
- Corrections or reentry services
- Direct care
Training will be provided for program-specific policies and procedures.

Schedule
Weekend availability is required.
This position is intended specifically to provide weekend coverage. Applicants should be able to reliably work assigned Saturday and/or Sunday shifts.
