- Plan and support an annual community conference, bringing together people in recovery, peer specialists, providers, partners, and community members to strengthen recovery-oriented systems of care.
We are seeking an engaged, responsible, and mission-driven Program Manager to oversee daily programming, support staff, maintain contract and reporting requirements, and strengthen ROC’s ability to serve the community with consistency, compassion, and accountability. The Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure the organization operates in alignment with ROC’s mission, vision, contractual obligations, and the directives of the Board of Directors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and support two part-time Peer Specialists and one full-time Community Engagement Lead.
- Provide oversight of ROC’s peer support, tobacco treatment, jail-based, group, and community programming.
- Help ensure programs are delivered consistently, responsibly, and in alignment with ROC’s mission, values, contracts, and funding requirements.
- Coordinate staff schedules, program coverage, participant flow, and day-to-day service needs.
- Support screening, intake coordination, and referral processes for individuals seeking peer support or recovery services.
- Monitor program activity, service delivery, outreach efforts, and staff documentation to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain compliance with grant, contract, monitoring, and reporting requirements.
- Complete and/or oversee required data entry, reporting, and documentation tasks.
- Maintain high standards for EHR documentation, record keeping, participant files, and internal tracking systems.
- Prepare for monitoring activities, assist with follow-up responses, and help implement corrective actions when needed.
- Communicate regularly with staff, leadership, board members, partners, and community stakeholders as needed.
- Support planning and coordination of community events, recovery groups, partner-site services, and ROC’s annual conference.
Preferred Qualifications and Application Requirements
Strong preference will be given to candidates who are certified as a Recovery Peer Specialist or who meet the qualifications to pursue peer certification. Peer certification eligibility generally includes lived experience with a mental health and/or substance use condition, substance use recovery, or being directly impacted by a family member with lived experience.
Candidates must be tobacco free and willing to become certified as a Tobacco Treatment Specialists.
There are no minimum education or experience requirements for this position. However, successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, judgment, and reliability necessary to perform the duties of the role.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Selected candidates will be subject to employment history verification and a background screening. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing all required screenings, including a Level II background screening.
Compensation
The salary for this position is $46,800 annually, with an additional $7,100 healthcare stipend, for a total gross annual pay of $53,900. Due to the small size of our organization, we are not eligible to offer health insurance, the $7,100 healthcare stipend is intended to support the cost of health benefits through marketplace and is treated as taxable income.
Salary is currently based on contract and grant funding limitations. As ROC’s programs continue to grow and funding capacity expands, there may be opportunities for future compensation growth and advancement.
