What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health + Recovery Companions position at Recovery Consultants, LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health and addiction
- Keeping client accountable in their recovery path
- Monitor and document client progress and behavior
- Being an additional source of peer-support for the client
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a mental health and addiction treatment setting
- Personal experience with mental health and addiction
- Trauma-informed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
